In the Spanish domestic market medium sized rebar prices are standing in the range of about €380-400/mt ($521-549/mt) delivered to customer, excluding VAT, on actual weight basis and for 15-30 day deferred payments, though bookings are concluded below these levels.
On the export side, sales are mainly concluded to Algeria, with the latest bookings concluded at the level of €380/mt ($521/mt) C&F Algeria. Although mills are generally trying to keep their rebar export offers at €360/mt ($494/mt) FOB, offers may be heard below this level depending on customer and tonnage.
