SteelOrbis has learned that in the Vietnamese domestic market steel billet prices have shown a steep decline due to weak demand and the strength of the US dollar, decreasing to approximately VDN 13.7-14 million/mt ($654-668/mt).
In the meantime, it is reported that Vietnamese producers are offering steel billet to export markets at $640-645/mt FOB, decreasing by $10-15/mt as compared to last week.
