Due to a dispute over the quality of rebar shipped by a Turkish producer to Yemen in previous weeks, shipments from the producer have been kept waiting at the ports of Aden and Hodeid. Market sources report that the Turkish producer admitted to recall the cargo and guaranteed to send another cargo instead of the recalled one to the Yemeni buyer. Market sources say that the rebar recalled is about 70.000mt.
