Chinese rebar and wire rod prices for Southeast Asia – week 23

SteelOrbis has learned that the price of Chinese origin 18 mm HRB 335 boron-added rebar for Southeast Asia has remained unchanged as compared to last week at $630/mt FOB, including 13 percent export tax rebate, on actual weight basis, for payments via letter of credit and for late June shipment.
 
Meanwhile, the price of Chinese origin 6.5 mm low carbon boron-added wire rod for Southeast Asia is at $657/mt CFR, including 17 percent VAT, on actual weight basis, for payments via letter of credit and for late June shipment, compared to $655/mt CFR last week.
