Chinese rebar and wire rod offers to Southeast Asia increase slightly

SteelOrbis has learned that the prices of Chinese origin 18 mm HRB 335 boron-added rebar for Southeast Asia are currently at $520/mt FOB, including 13 percent export tax rebate, on actual weight basis, for payments via letter of credit and for late September shipment. The offers have indicated an increase of $5/mt since last week.
 
Meanwhile, the prices of Chinese origin 6.5 mm low carbon boron-added wire rod for Southeast Asia have moved up by $5/mt since last week and are now at $525/mt CFR, including 17 percent VAT, on actual weight basis, for payments via letter of credit and for end of September shipment.
