In the local Turkish rebar market, although buyers postponed their purchases ahead of the end-of-Ramadan holiday, domestic rebar offers have moved up by TRY 20-30/mt compared to June 15, with the support of increases in scrap prices in deals completed last week. On the other hand, the increases in domestic rebar prices have not been supported by demand, with the market moving upwards as rebar suppliers expect that sales will pick up following the holiday.
