Market activity for US domestic cold rolled coil (CRC) has continued to stay its course since our last report a week ago, as sources close to SteelOrbis say that all eyes are set to Sept. 11, 2015, the day the US DOC will release preliminary determinations in both the AD and CVD cases.

“It’s been slow,” according to a Midwest-based source.  “Prices aren’t going up, they aren’t going down and there just isn’t a whole lot of activity to speak of.”  In terms of pricing, that too is status quo, as US domestic spot prices have once again held in the approximate range of $28-$29 cwt. ($617-$639/mt or $560-$580/nt), ex-Midwest mill.
