US import HDG prices tick upward after weeks of stability

Spot market prices within the US import coated steel markets has ticked up in the past seven days, ending a weeks-long trend of price stability. Sources close to SteelOrbis note that the uptick in offshore pricing has scared some, although not all, buyers to the sidelines, as many question whether domestic steel prices “will be lower than what’s being offered offshore, by the time their imported steel arrives.”
