Spot market prices for US import HDG and Galvalume are holding, sources note, adding that still-high US dometic prices have some domestic buyers looking offshore.
“When you look at domestic prices, offshore offers are increasingly attractive,” one trader source noted. “And since a lot of people think the domestic market could stay strong through the end of the year, and since demand doesn’t seem to be letting up, booking offshore makes sense.”
