Spot market prices for US import 0.012”x40.875” G30 HDG coil from Egypt continue to be mostly stable, although sources close to SteelOrbis have indicated that sellers have begun to show increased flexibility with pricing. US import Galvalume prices have remained lateral.
Interest in booking offshore Galvalume is likely to experience a resurgence, sources note, now that domestic pricing has started to climb. Import Galvalume prices are now approximately $2.00 cwt. ($44/mt or $40/nt) below domestic offerings, and the spread is expected to widen in the upcoming weeks.
