As previously predicted, import offer prices for US import HDG and Galvalume coil have risen significantly since our last report a week ago. “The numbers have moved significantly higher this week, and what we’re seeing right now is nothing short of insanity,” a source said. “This is a global phenomenon.”
Other sources have said that prices seem to change daily, and that availability is scarce. “Sellers who have it can essentially name their price,” he said.
