As with last week, spot market prices for US import 0.012”x40.875” G30 HDG coil and Gr80/AZ55 Galvalume coil markets have remained neutral.
Interest in booking offshore for import 0.012”x40.875” G30 HDG coil has also remained steady, as buyers are more comfortable booking specialty grade steel from mills outside of the US, out of concern that availability in the domestic market will be pinched, due to falling US prices and mills’ lack of excitement in rolling 0.012”x40.875” G30 HDG coil without sufficient margins.
On the other hand, interest in booking 0.019x41.5625 Gr80/AZ55 Galvalume coil from offshore mills has waned, as domestic prices are soft and lead times are short.
