US domestic HRC and CRC prices have remained in their previous ranges, sources note, adding that US HDG prices have ticked down by $1.00 cwt. ($22/mt or $20/nt) since our last report a week ago.
Sources have also confirmed that US HRC prices are still being heard at approximately $40-$42 cwt. ($882-$926/mt or $800-$840/nt), FOB mill. Current prices are approximately $18 cwt. ($397/mt or $360/nt) below their peak in early-April.
CRC prices are also in the same range that they were a week ago, with sources indicating that the most commonly heard spot price transaction range continues to trend at $50-$53 cwt. ($1,102-$1,168/mt or $1,000-$1,060/nt), FOB mill.
US HDG prices, on the other hand, have revised downward and are now being heard at $49-$52 cwt. ($1,080-$1,146/mt or $980-$1,040/nt) FOB mill, against $50-$53 cwt. ($1,102-$1,168/mt or $1,000-$1,060/nt), FOB mill, a week ago.
Similar to previous weeks, sources have confirmed that deals slightly above and below these ranges have been heard based on order volume.
Lead times for HRC are being heard at roughly 5-6 weeks, whereas lead times for CRC and HDG coil continue to trend at approximately 6-7 weeks.
