As with last week, the most commonly heard spot market price ranges for US domestic HDG and Galvalume coil are mostly stable, and, as with previous weeks, availability is still tight.
“The market is still tight, and if you consider the number of mills that have planned outages on the horizon, we don’t expect that’s going to change things anytime soon,” a source said. “Demand is as strong as ever and the pent-up demand from COVID-19 is unlike anything we’ve ever seen.”
