US CRC mills prices level into the Thanksgiving holiday

After a slight drop in spot prices for US domestic cold rolled coil (CRC) prices two weeks ago, prices have leveled off, in part due to low activity levels during the holiday week. Spot prices are still being offered in the range of $36.00-$37.00 cwt. ($794-$816/mt or $720-$740/nt) ex-Midwest mill.

As with last week, sources report that buyers in some areas of the country may be able to negotiate deals slightly below the most commonly reported spot price transaction range.
