Turkish domestic HRC prices maintain uptrend

Over the past week, Turkish producers have increased their domestic hot rolled coil (HRC) prices by $10/mt to $510-530/mt ex-works amid the ongoing rises in global raw material and flat steel prices. Although buyers have slowed down their purchases, demand for domestic producers’ HRC products still remains at decent levels.

Meanwhile, demand has also remained at decent levels in the local Turkish HRC spot market and traders’ spot HRC prices have moved up by $10/mt compared to the previous week.

The domestic sales prices of traders for local and imported hot rolled flat steel products in the Eregli and Gebze regions of Turkey are as follows:
