Shagang Group increases its HRC prices for September

On September 1, Jiangsu Province-based Chinese steel producer Shagang Group issued its ex-mill hot rolled coil (HRC) prices for September. The details are as follows:

The producer's HRC price has increased by RMB 150/mt ($22/mt) as compared to its previous price published on August 2. As a result, its new price for 5.5 mm Q235 HRC stands at RMB 4,400/mt ($647/mt), while its price for SPHC 5.5 mm HRC is RMB 4,500/mt ($661/mt).

The above prices are ex-mill, inclusive of tax and effective from September 1.
