While Romanian flat steel traders have attempted to slightly increase hot rolled sheet (HRS) pricing during the previous week, Romania's sole flat steel producer has decreased hot rolled coil prices (HRC), but neither the producer nor the traders received any interest or bookings from consumers. As a result, this week they have chosen to maintain the same pricing as last week considering that the market is not showing any improvement.
The domestic flat steel producer in Romania has chosen to keep prices of hot rolled coil and cold rolled coil (CRC) stable week on week at €665-670/mt ex-works and €795/mt ex-works, respectively. Similarly, traders' pricing for hot rolled sheets and cold rolled sheets (CRS) has remained unchanged from last week at €760-800/mt ex-warehouse and €855-870/mt ex-warehouse, respectively.
Moreover, the mill's domestic market pricing for HDG and PPGI in the category of coated steel is unchanged week on week at €825/mt ex-works and €1,115/mt ex-works, respectively.
In the import segment, according to sources, Ukraine has offered HRS and CRS for November shipping at €640/mt DAP and €710/mt DAP, respectively.
