During the past week, the local Turkish pre-painted galvanized (PPGI) coil market was closed due to the Feast of Sacrifice holiday (Aug. 31-Sept. 4). As of today, September 5, buyers have returned from their holidays and have started to make inquiries for domestic PPGI, while prices have remained unchanged week on week.

Accordingly, Turkish domestic PPGI prices have remained stable in the past week, with RAL 9002 0.3 mm 100 gr/m² zinc-coated PPGI prices still at $1,080-1,125/mt, with the price of RAL 9002 0.5 mm at $930-950/mt and the price of 1 mm RAL 9002 at $820-855/mt. All the offers in question are on ex-works basis and exclude 18 percent VAT.

Meanwhile, Turkish PPGI export prices have also remained stable week on week at $915-925/mt FOB.
