Over the past week, demand in the local Turkish cold rolled coil (CRC) market has remained slack, while Turkish producers have maintained their CRC prices stable at $680-690/mt ex-works. Market sources state that buyers continue to postpone their bookings due to the sharp depreciations of Turkish lira against the US dollar, approaching Feast of Sacrifice and the current summer season. Accordingly, domestic CRC demand in Turkey is not expected to improve in the short term.

In the spot market, prices of domestic CRC sold by local traders have remained stable week on week.
