Over the past week, demand in the local Turkish coated coil market has remained at low levels. It is observed that purchases in the market are still made only in line with needs. However, despite the weakness of demand, coated coil quotations have moved up in line with the rises recorded in domestic hot rolled coil (HRC) prices. Meanwhile, market sources do not expect a revival in demand in the short term due to the slack summer season.
