The last offer of CRC received from China by Brazilian importers was priced at $596/mt, CFR conditions for shipments to a port in the South or Southeastern coast of Brazil, with the 1008/SPCC grade as reference, against $574/mt two weeks ago.
In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is currently offered in medium to large volumes by the producers at BRL 3,801/mt ($714/mt) against BRL 3,931/mt weeks ago, ex-works, no taxes included.
The reduction reflects exchange rate variations, as the price in USD terms is roughly stable over the period.
