The last offer of CRC received from China by Brazilian importers was priced at $573/mt, against $560/mt four weeks ago, both CFR conditions for shipment to a port in the south or southeastern coast of Brazil, with the SAE 1008/SPCC grade as reference.
In July, Brazil imported 7,500 mt of CRC, of which 5,200 mt from China at $563/mt, 1,000 mt from Sweden at $737/mt, 700 mt from South Korea at $718/mt, and 400 mt from Taiwan at $817/mt, all FOB conditions and different quality grades. Small volumes were imported from Australia and from EU countries.
Meanwhile, Brazil exported in July 400 mt of CRC to South American countries, in average at $803/mt, FOB conditions, different quality grades and price deals probably closed in May.
