The last offer of Brazilian import CRC from China was priced at $560/mt, against $595/mt four weeks ago, CFR conditions for shipment to a port in the south or southeastern coast of Brazil, with the SAE 1008/SPCC grade as reference.
In June, Brazil imported 5,800 mt of CRC, of which 2,600 mt from China at $563/mt, 1,900 mt from Ukraine at $520/mt, 800 mt from South Korea, at $716/mt and 300 mt from Taiwan at $796/mt, all FOB conditions and different quality grades. Minor volumes were imported from Sweden and Japan.
Meanwhile, Brazil exported in June 27,200 mt of CRC, all by Usiminas at $575/mt, FOB conditions, with different quality grades and price deals probably closed in April; exports were almost entirely destined to the EU.
