The last offer of CRC received from China by Brazilian importers was priced at $565/mt, CFR conditions for shipments to a port in the South or Southeastern coast of Brazil, with the 1008/SPCC grade as reference, the same as two weeks ago.
In June, Brazil imported 26,500 mt of CRC, while exporting 1,500 mt of the product.
In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is currently offered in medium to large volumes by the producers at BRL 3,371/mt ($658/mt) against BRL 3,615/mt two weeks ago, ex-works, no taxes included. The decline reflects chiefly exchange rate variations.
