Having raised their prices by around $35/mt each month since March, Ukrainian hot dip galvanized (HDG) suppliers' offers hit peak levels in June, while this upward trend has now halted. Considering the current political situation in the country and the summer season, Ukrainian suppliers are expected to keep their local quotations unchanged for the July-early August period.

Meanwhile, some steelmakers operating in the Donbass region have been facing difficulties in obtaining shipments of materials needed for their production due to the high political tensions in the region, and so the mills have either stopped their production or have cut their production volumes significantly.
