The reference price for Brazilian hot dipped galvanized (HDG) exports is $800/mt, FOB conditions, having the G40 grade and 4.75mm thickness product as reference, the same over the last six weeks.

The last offer of HDG received from China was priced at $719/mt, CFR conditions for a port in the South or Southeastern coast of Brazil, with reference to the Z100/SGCC grade, stable from two weeks ago.

In the Brazilian domestic market, HDG is currently sold by producers at BRL 4,665/mt ($829/mt) against BRL 4,517/mt two weeks ago, ex-works, no taxes included. The increased price reflects chiefly higher international prices of the product.
