HRC prices in the Vietnamese domestic market are still at $560-565/mt ex-warehouse, while CRC prices stand at $680-685/mt ex-works. Meanwhile, rerolling quality HRC of 2 mm thickness is now being quoted at $585-595/mt ex-warehouse.
On the import side, Chinese HRC offers to Vietnam are now at $555/mt CFR, indicating an increase of $10/mt as compared to last week, though some deals have been concluded at $543-545/mt CFR for materials produced by Chinese mill Shagang. In the meantime, offers for rerolling quality HRC of 2 mm thickness from China have increased by $15-25/mt since last week to $565-575/mt CFR, while offers from Japan have moved up by $20/mt and Taiwanese offers have indicated an increase of $20/mt over the same period, with the offers in question now standing at $590/mt CFR and at $580/mt CFR respectively.
