Mexican domestic hot dipped galvanized (HDG) prices increased US$32/mt in the last week to reach US$919/mt ex-mill.

Sources tell SteelOrbis that the favorable development of the automobile and auto parts industry is driving demand for flat steel. Local producers and processors hope for  sustained recovery after a recent difficult time for the steel market on a national and global level.
