Prices in the local Italian flat steel market prices have remained stable over the past week, standing at €420-460/mt ($462-506/mt) for hot rolled coil (HRC), at €530-560/mt ($583-616/mt) for cold rolled coil (CRC) and at €510-540/mt ($561-594/mt) for hot dip galvanized (HDG), all ex-works.

Market sources report the possibility of a price increase in the coming period because of the recent antidumping measures that have removed Chinese competitors from the European market with a six-month duty in the range of 13.2-22.6 percent.
