During the week ending September 11, average hot rolled coil (HRC) prices in the Chinese domestic market have increased slightly, while activity in the market has been at low-to-medium levels. Average HRC prices in the local Chinese market are presented in the following table.

During the given week, HRC prices in the Chinese domestic market have rise slightly. HRC futures prices moved sideways in the first four trading days of the given week, while they have indicated significant decreases on September 11, which will likely exert a negative impact on the HRC market. It is expected that HRC prices in the Chinese domestic market will edge down in the coming week.
