Prices in the local European hot rolled coil (HRC) market have remained stable during the past week at €390-420/mt ($437-471/mt) ex-works, with prices now unchanged since early August. Demand in the market has remained on the weak side, while market players expect that trading activity will recover in the short term due to the end of the summer holidays.
