Due to the traditional offseason, transaction activities in the local European market have slowed down over the past week, while demand has remained weak in the same period. As a result, local steel producers' hot rolled coil (HRC) prices in Europe have declined by €10/mt ($11/mt) in the past week to €410-430/mt ($451-473/mt) ex-works.
