Latest situation in Italian HRC market

According to market sources, Italian producers' domestic hot rolled coil (HRC) base prices are still at €460-470/mt ($524-536/mt) ex-works, i.e., stable compared to one week ago. However, demand in the local Italian HRC market is still weak and buyers keep pushing for lower prices.

As for import offers, market sources have reported that ex-Turkey HRC offers for southern Europe are currently at €450-455/mt ($513-519/mt) CFR.
