Brazilian producers are negotiating HRC for export in a range of $590/mt to $600/mt, FOB conditions for the basic commercial grades, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.

The price range compares with a stable price of $610/mt FOB over the last two weeks. A second source mentioned that the decline reflects a search for alternative markets for flat steel products, to compensate for the lower domestic demand.
