HRC export price stable week-on-week in Brazil

Brazilian producers are negotiating HRC of the basic commercial grades for export at $610/mt, FOB conditions, the same price as last week, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.

The source mentioned that HRC prices could increase in the short term, as the HRC price premium in relation to slab prices has reached all-time lows of around $40/mt, comparable with an historical average of $100/mt.
