SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that demand in the local Russian flat steel market has improved due to seasonal factors, while the main domestic flat steel producers are optimistic and have increased their prices by between five and seven percent month on month. Russian traders think the new prices are fair even though they are a little higher than they had initially expected. No large transactions have been heard in the Russian flat steel market.
