Brazil exported 8,800 mt of Galvalume in April, a 33.4 percent reduction from March, at an average FOB price reduced by 2 percent to $827/mt.

All the exports were from CSN and destined to Latin American countries (5,300 mt at $821/mt, of which 4,700 mt to Argentina) and the US (3,500 mt at $836/mt), both FOB conditions with price deals probably closed in February.

The most recent export deals are being closed in Brazil at $800/mt, FOB conditions, a price stable from last week after being reduced from $830/mt a few weeks ago to match international prices, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.

Meanwhile, Brazil imported in April 7,000 mt of Galvalume and similar aluminum-zinc coated products at $696/mt, FOB conditions.
