Demand has remained weak both on the mills' side and in the spot market in the Turkish domestic cold rolled coil (CRC) market over the past two weeks, as ex-Russia hot rolled coil (HRC) offers for Turkey are in the attractive price range of $450-485/mt CFR and it is cheaper for Turkish buyers to purchase Russian HRC for rolling into CRC. Therefore, Turkish producers' offers for December production CRC have moved down by $20/mt over the past two weeks to the range of $615-620/mt ex-works.

Spot CRC prices are as follows:

 Product

Price ($/mt)

Eregli

Gebze

0.6 mm CRC

710-730

715-725

0.7-2 mm CRC

670-680

680-690

The offers are on ex-warehouse basis and exclude 18 percent VAT.
