On July 18, SteelOrbis reported ex-China offers on flat steel selections to Chile for HRC at $515-520/mt CFR, CRC at $535-555/mt CFR, and HDG at $635-655/mt CFR.
According to sources close to SteelOrbis, the upward trend continues on export offer prices to Chile on strong Chinese domestic demand, with prices now reportedly at $530-535/mt CFR for HRC, CRC at $565-575/mt CFR and HDG at $665-675/mt CFR. These prices represent an increase of $15/mt on HRC. CRC and HDG prices increased $30/mt from the bottom of their respective ranges and $20/mt from the top of their respective ranges.
