Outokumpu, Aperam and Acerinox, leading stainless steel producers in Europe, have announced their alloy surcharges for March, decreasing their product prices compared to the previous month. Since the beginning of February, the cash nickel prices at the London Metal Exchange (LME) followed a fluctuating trend and decreased by approximately $125/mt to $8,420/mt as of March 1, pulling alloy surcharges’ prices down. Meanwhile, prices in the global stainless steel markets have remained stable.
The alloy surcharges’ prices for July 2015 of the producers in question are as follows:
