European flat steel prices decrease

According to market sources, hot rolled coil (HRC) prices in the local European flat steel market have moved down by €10/mt as of today, July 25, to €440-470/mt ($488-522/mt) ex-works, compared to the prices reported last week. In the same period, domestic cold rolled coil (CRC) prices in Europe have decreased by €15/mt to €515-565/mt ($572-627/mt) ex-works and hot dip galvanized (HDG) coil prices have declined by €12.5/mt on average to €515-570/mt ($572-633/mt) ex-works.
