SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that Turkish flat steel producer Erdemir has increased its domestic hot rolled coil (HRC) and cold rolled coil (CRC) offers by $20/mt.

Accordingly, Erdemir's local HRC offers are now standing at $670/mt, while its 1.0-2.0 mm CRC offers are at $790-800/mt, both ex-works.

After the New Year holiday, the Turkish flat steel market has remained quiet so far and buyers are expected to monitor the market situation and prices throughout this week. However, it is thought that Erdemir's new prices may see some demand by next week.
