Turkish integrated steel producer Erdemir has announced an increase in base prices for some flat products in its new price list issued on January 29. Accordingly, the producer has increased its HRC prices by $25/mt, plate prices by $20/mt, CRC prices by $5/mt and galvanized prices by $10/mt, whereas tin coil/sheet prices have remained unchanged.
Erdemir's last price list was issued on January 6. Before the publication of its new list, Erdemir was selling HRC at the price level of $545/mt, HDG at $750/mt, CRC at $660/mt, tin coil at $1,150/mt and tin sheet at $1,190/mt, all on ex-works basis.
The new base prices effective for local sales as of January 29, 2010 are as follows:
