According to market sources, Turkish EAF-based steel producers have increased their domestic hot rolled coil (HRC) prices due to the ongoing rises recorded in import scrap quotations. Market sources also state that Turkish producers have taken into account the tightness of HRC supply in the local Turkish market and have raised their HRC prices for July output by $35/mt week on week to $500-530/mt ex-works.
