According to market sources, cold rolled coil (CRC) base prices in the Italian domestic market are currently at €595-620/mt ($702-732/mt) ex-works. Although some local producers have been asking for slightly higher prices, transaction prices have not actually reached such levels. Sources underlined that, while CRC import offers are almost non-existent due to the possible imposition of definitive antidumping duties on imports from Brazil, Russia, Ukraine and Iran, CRC import offers are slightly higher.

According to market sources, hot dip galvanized (HDG) coil base prices in the Italian domestic market are currently at €630-645/mt ($743-761/mt) ex-works, i.e., mostly stable over the past two weeks.
