Demand for imported flat steel in Turkey is still weak. Turkish buyers are postponing their bookings due to political and economic uncertainty in the country and they are only making bookings in order to meet their needs for small tonnages.

Meanwhile, import HRC offers to Turkey from Russia have decreased by $15/mt during the past week to $330-340/mt CFR, while import offers from Ukraine have declined by $5/mt week on week to $320-330/mt CFR.

In the same period, cold rolled coil (CRC) offers to Turkey have remained stable, with Russian CRC offers still at $410-420/mt CFR and Ukrainian CRC offers remaining at $400-410/mt CFR.
