In the Greek flat steel market, demand continues to shrink due to the economic depression in the country. Traders' offers for Ilyich production hot rolled coils (HRC) to Greece are currently standing at the level of $550/mt FOB, while HRC offers direct from Zaporizhstal are at $560-565/mt FOB Izmail. It is also heard from market sources that in the local Greek steel market hot rolled sheet prices are currently at about €520/mt ($678/mt) for 120-day deferred payment.
