Demand in Vietnam for local and import flat steel products has remained weak.
Hot rolled coil (HRC) prices in the Vietnamese domestic market stand at $525-535/mt ex-warehouse, while cold rolled coil (CRC) prices are at $640-645/mt ex-works. Meanwhile, rerolling quality HRC of 2 mm thickness are being quoted at $550-555/mt ex-warehouse.
On the other hand, Chinese HRC offers to Vietnam are at $530-535/mt CFR, while offers for rerolling quality HRC of 2 mm thickness from China can be find in the range of $550-555/mt CFR.
