According to market sources, prices in the Turkish domestic hot dip galvanized (HDG) coil market have remained stable since last week, while local demand has failed to record any improvements despite recent upticks in demand on the export side.

In the Turkish domestic market, HDG sales prices are as follows:

Product

Price ($/mt)

HDG   0.50 mm  100gr/m²

780-805

HDG   1 mm  100gr/m²

730-750

HDG   2 mm  100gr/m²

715-720

The above prices, which may differ depending on product quality, are ex-works, exclude VAT, and are for advance payments.

On the other hand, demand for Turkish HDG exports, which had increased last week, is now at medium levels, while July production Turkish HDG export prices have remained unchanged since last week at $765-785/mt FOB.
